New Requirements for Agricultural Exemption · 01/10/2012

House Bill 268, passed during the 82nd Regular Legislative Session(2011), requires that a person claiming an Agricultural exemption from sales tax on such purchases, must provide a registration number issued by the Comptroller of Public Accounts on the exemption certificate issued to the seller. As of January 1,2012, any customer who claims farm(ag) exemption MUST supply Andy's Tire Service with an Ag exemption number and signed form.
